On Wednesday the 10th September, as part of the Irish Deaf Society’s Sign Week, the Cork Deaf Association will be holding a Sign Language demonstration, totally free of charge. If you have always wanted to try and learn more about sign language then now is your chance.
You can come along and learn how to sign your name and the alphabet. You can also get information on how to enrol on courses starting soon.
It’s all at the Deaf Centre, 5 Mac Curtain Street, Cork between 10am and 1pm. There will a series of small demonstrations throughout the morning. Tea and coffee will also be provided.
You can also get information on the services that CDA provide to the deaf and hard of hearing communities throughout Cork and County.
